Christian Science has met my every need, and my gratitude for it is boundless. My grandmother became interested in this enlightening religion when my mother was very young. My mother and her sister had the blessed privilege of attending a Christian Science Sunday School.

I have received many healings, including those of asthma, severe abdominal pains, a dislocated foot, and colds. My small son has had healings of skin disorders and colds, and he has had protection from childhood diseases and from influenza when that contagion was prevalent.

With help from a consecrated practitioner he was healed of infantile paralysis. On the third day of his illness, when he could not walk, the practitioner and I sang the beloved hymn beginning. "I walk with Love along the way" (Christian Science Hymnal, No. 139), and in a few minutes the child got up and walked normally. Two days later he was entirely well. The truth that God is Father-Mother has enabled me to free myself from a false sense of responsibility as a human parent and to place my child in the care of his true Parent, his loving Father-Mother God.
