A PRAYER

Come with the dawn and bless me as I wake!
Into my waiting heart pour living thought.
Give of Thy grace that not one step I take
This day by Thee untaught.

Show Thou the cross, which fearless I must carry.
So shall the Christ through all the striving shine.
In the great heart of Love make me to tarry
And know a crown is mine.
