I should like to express my sincere...

I should like to express my sincere gratitude for Christian Science. For many years I had been interested in its teachings, reading much of the literature and attending as many of the lectures as I could, and I was always greatly uplifted; but it was not until I was in need of a physical healing that I earnestly turned to this Science for help. At this time I was overwhelmed with fear, because I had alarming symptoms of a serious physical condition. However, in a few weeks, with the loving help and patience of a Christian Science practitioner, all symptoms completely faded away, and I was entirely free from the difficulty. This healing took place about eight years ago.

Three years or so ago I badly injured my forearm. Judging from the position of the arm, either a bone had been broken or the wrist dislocated, and the pain was intense for a time. Christian Science help was asked for soon after the accident, which happened on a Sunday morning, and before very long the pain subsided. The arm straightened during the afternoon, and that evening I was able to attend church. In a short time I was using my arm normally. I am most grateful to the Christian Scientist who helped me; her clear realization of the truth brought about this healing.

For the joy and peace which Christian Science has given me and for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, I am deeply grateful.—(Mrs.) Bessie Richards, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.
