Increasing Recognition of Scientists' Rights

German-speaking Switzerland

In the canton of Zurich it is now established that Christian Science practitioners are henceforth free to ask payment for their treatments.

In one canton a Christian Science practitioner was accused in the prosecuting court of "endangering life" A person to whom he now and then had given Christian Science treatment passed on, and it was claimed that the practitioner's action was in some way liable to punishment. The court, however, found the accused not guilty, and the case was dismissed with all costs incurred being paid by the state.
