A few years ago while I was holding...

A few years ago while I was holding a responsible position in an office, I found it very difficult to do my work properly, and finally it was necessary for me to give up my work because of ill-health. Through Christian Science help I was healed, and later, although I did not return to my previous employer, I resumed work. Through this experience I learned that I have actually only one employer, God, and only one duty, to love God and help my fellow men.

I was able to prove the truth of Mary Baker Eddy's statement on page 519 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," where, speaking of the divine Mind, she says, "No exhaustion follows the action of this Mind, according to the apprehension of divine Science." For two months my day began at six thirty in the morning, and I worked through until eleven each night. Constantly before my thought was the following statement found in the definition of day on page 584 of Science and Health: "The objects of time and sense disappear in the illumination of spiritual understanding, and Mind measures time according to the good that is unfolded. This unfolding is God's day, and 'there shall be no night there.'"

I am indeed grateful for Christian Science and for our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy; also for the blessed privilege of class instruction. —(Mrs.) Kathleen Patton, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
