HOME

The truth that we have made our very own,
And any talent we have tended well,
We have and hold as a foundation stone
To build upon. The place where we would dwell
Is not a site to leave or travel to,
Nor built to architectural design.
It is the consciousness the Master knew
Of home and heaven—the dwelling place divine.

So very much there is to emphasize
That this true consciousness has come to mean
A quiet habitation to the wise.
Let us not anchor to the changing scene,
But build up to eternal mansions, led
By him who had not where to lay his head.
