Of Good Report

"Bring wood, and build the house"

This is the story of a little log church in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.

In 1939 two Christian Scientists who live in a town with a population of about eight hundred and fifty began holding Sunday services in a home. Four years later several others were attending the services, and the group moved to Odd Fellows Hall.

In the spring of 1947 a man whose wife had been helped in Christian Science gave the group five hundred dollars, and, as building material was scarce at that time, he recommended that they buy logs and build a church. Since suitable logs could not be found, this man bought a sawmill, got out the logs, and sold them to the group.
