I have been greatly helped by the testimonies which appear in our periodicals and feel it is time to add mine to the list.

In 1916 I went to see a sister in Manchester, and she told me that her doctor said he could do nothing more for her. We decided to go to a Christian Science Wednesday evening testimony meeting. The testimonies were so convincing that she sought help from a Christian Science practitioner and received a healing of skin and nerve trouble. As a result of this healing her two daughters were sent to the Christian Science Sunday School, and they have been active in the movement ever since.

Shortly after this there was a call from a Red Cross hospital for nurses, and having trained in a London hospital, I felt it was my duty to go. While I was there I witnessed a healing brought about through Christian Science, and all faith in materia medica dropped from me.
