Church Dedications

Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.

Paso Robles, California (First Church).

Dedication services for First Church of Christ, Scientist, Paso Robles, at Twelfth and Vine Streets was held on Sunday moraine, February 9, 1947, in connection with regular services.

The local church had its beginning on July 1920, when a group of Christian Scientists met and started reading in a private home the Lesson-Sermons from the Christian Science Quarterly.

On September 2 of the following year, the present building was completed. On April 11, 1923, a Christian Science Society was organized, receiving its charter under the laws of the state of California.

On May 16,1945, the society became First Church of Christ, Scientist. Paso Robles.
