"The creation of permanent peace throughout the world," Dr. Arnup declared, "is primarily not a political but a moral and spiritual undertaking. We have to proclaim to the world not that we have the solution to all problems, but that God rules and that He will show the way in the measure of their obedience to His will and their trust in His grace.

"Here I may express my own conviction that world peace must wait upon the full exercise of the whole weight of Christian influence upon the affairs of men."
