"Praise ye the Lord

"Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation" (Ps. 111:1). How can one praise the Lord better than to relate some of the healings which he has experienced through the ministrations of Christian Science? Mine have been abundant, and my heart is singing with gratitude for a better understanding of God as divine Love, and for the loyalty and steadfastness of practitioners and friends who have helped me over the rough places.

Over thirty years ago Christian Science was presented to my sister, who had undergone an operation but was no better, and was then told by the physicians that as soon as she recovered sufficiently from this operation another and more serious one would be necessary, involving removal of the female organs. The second operation was never performed, however, for a Christian Science practitioner was called, and an instantaneous healing resulted. Within a half-hour after the one treatment my sister arose and dressed, and the healing was permanent.

This impressed me deeply, and I at once took up the study of this truth. I experienced many healings just by reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our revered Loader, Mary Baker Eddy. Stomach ulcers, chronic colds, and faults of disposition were some of the errors which disappeared.
