I have sincere gratitude for all...

I have sincere gratitude for all the testimonies given at our Wednesday evening meetings, and for those which appear in our periodicals. I should also like to testify to a healing which I had about two years ago.

While staying with a sister some distance away from my home I fell in the street, striking my arm heavily on the curbstone. I at once declared the presence and all-power of God, and as I readied out my hand to pick up my umbrella," I felt the bone at the top of my arm move into place. My sister quickly got in touch with a practitioner and in a few hours I was free from acute pain and had a fairly comfortable night.

The next morning, as I was unable to use my arm, it was thought wise to call in a doctor. He advised an X ray, and the shoulder bone was found to be fractured. The two doctors who examined the plate were surprised that I had not had any medical treatment, because the bone was perfectly set. I was told that my arm would need special hospital treatments, and that it would be two or three months before I could use it. I did not have the treatment, but relied wholly on Christian Science. I was able to travel to my home at the end of a week, and in three weeks I was doing all my own housework. Apart from a slight stiffness, which soon passed away, I had no further trouble.
