Christian Science Committee on Publication for Alabama Reports

During the past twelve months there has been little to report in so far as criticisms and attacks upon our religion are concerned. Only one or two newspaper corrections were needed. On the other hand, there are many evidences of a growing consideration for our religion on the part of the public in general.

It is gratifying to report that many newspapers, even under the present conditions of manpower and paper shortage, have been generous in giving us space for the publication of our Lesson-Sermon excerpts, the "Gems of Thought," reports of lectures, the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church, the Thanksgiving services, and other items pertaining to the activities of our Cause.

In the state of Alabama there are at this time approximately eighty-five newspapers receiving subscriptions to The Christian Science Monitor in exchange for advertising, and in these newspapers there are many reprints of articles and editorials from the Monitor, proper credit being given for these.
