It is with sincere gratitude to God for all the good that has come to me since Christian Science came into my experience that I am writing this testimony.

Over twenty-five years ago the doctors said that I had but a few months more to live because of a tubercular condition of the lungs. After spending many months in bed without relief or improvement, and being very despondent and discouraged, I turned to a Christian Science practitioner for help. I had heard that this Science had helped others, and with a last ray of hope I too turned to God.

After a few talks over the telephone with the practitioner I was able to get out of bed and travel by streetcar to his office, a distance of about eight miles. As the result of four months of steady treatment and earnest study of the Bible and our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I was able to resume my profession as a teacher and take care of my home as well. I have remained free from this sickness ever since. During the intervening years I have experienced many instances of divine protection and guidance.
