I am very grateful to God for Christian Science. More than twelve years ago I became acquainted with the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, which I studied daily at home and at a Reading Room. A Christian Science lecture given by the branch church of which I am now a member further increased my interest. My sister also read the textbook at this time, and it was through our reliance on the understanding we gained thereby that our mother was healed of pneumonia in three days. From the time I started to read the textbook I have used the truths it contains to heal all manner of disease and to bring about harmony.

I am very grateful for class instruction and for the practitioners who are ready when we call.

The first healing accomplished through my own work was that of toothache. I was going to have the tooth removed, but in fifteen minutes I was able to see that man is God's reflection, and the pain disappeared.
