Our Young Christian Warriors

The value of our Christian Science Sunday School should be widely apparent at the present time. Its beneficent influence is manifested by the many children who yesterday were enrolled in its classes, and today are enlisted in the conflict against regimentation, mesmeric tyranny, and paganism. Lined shoulder to shoulder with the millions stationed at the four corners of the world, they are doing their part to guard and defend the righteous liberty of mankind.

These young Christian Scientists are witnesses to the healing power of Truth. To their new experiences they are bringing the understanding, joy, and inspiration which they have gained from their study of Christian Science and attendance in the Sunday school. It is their privilege to make further use of these attainments, and to prove that the spiritual understanding which they have used in solving their individual difficulties as children has increased and is indeed potent to surmount the tests and solve the problems facing them now. Conscious of this ever available equipment, they go forward with spiritual poise. James Russell Lowell glimpsed similar issues and the only true reliance when he wrote the following:
