Reading Room Notes

The Sentinel of May 29, 1943, carried an invitation to members of The Mother Church, and particularly librarian, to contribute, from time to time, helpful, healing experiences in our Reading Rooms. The invitation still stands, and contributions should be sent to the Journal and Sentinel Editorial Department. The following are excerpts from reports received from Reading Room librarians.

A woman came to the Reading Room late one afternoon burdened with a deep sense of injustice because of something that had been done by a member of her family. She said she just had to talk to someone. The Christian Science practitioner whom she sought was out. In the course of the conversation she suddenly said: "I really feel relieved. This troublesome thought has disappeared, and I know that the rest of the day will be happily spent. I am very grateful to you for the help you have given me."
