Infinite Protection

God is thy Father-Mother, thy great Friend;
He is all-comprehending and all-good;
He ever guides and guards thee till the end
Of seeming error. Being understood,
He leads thee through green pastures; He will keep
Watch over thee, whatever may betide.
He will be with thee even through the deep
Of night; His constant light is there beside
The troubled shadows; He will hold thy hand
Until the golden morning calm shall come
Into thy consciousness. His one demand
Of unselfed love will bring thee safely home,
Where peace and joy await, and thou shalt see
How infinite protection shieldeth thee.
