Christian Science has done so much for me and my immediate family that I want to make acknowledgment of it and express my gratitude for it.

My husband sought help of a Christian Science practitioner for me, with my rather indifferent consent, in 1919, when I was suffering from a severe nervous breakdown attended by insomnia and other discordant conditions. Inflamed sinus and nasal passages, which had been treated by a speacialist for over a month, were healed by the first treatment and have never returned. They had been a source of great discomfort and fear. Help was asked for early in the afternoon, and at about five o'clock the same day I suddenly realized the condition had vanished. This naturally made a deep impression on me, strengthening my confidence and convincing me that there was help for me in Christian Science.

This first demonstration stood by me during other trying times when healing came slowly. I shall never cease to be grateful for the long and restful sleep that followed that first treatment, and for the courage and confidence it inspired.
