An article entitled "The Errors of Eddyism," which appeared in a recent issue, has just come to my notice. It would be difficult to find a more mistaken view of Christian Science than is given in this article. I do not propose to take up your space in discussing the article at length, but it will suffice to correct two of the erroneous statements out of the many made by the writer.

The Christian Science textbook. "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, contains six Tenets which express in a simple, straightforward way the important points of this teaching. The last tenet reads as follows (p. 497): "And we solemnly promise to watch, and pray for that Mind to be in us which was also in Christ Jesus; to do unto others as we would have them do unto us; and to be merciful, just, and pure." It would be difficult to find anything more essentially Christian than this.
