"Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts."

Too long have I withheld my written testimony of gratitude to God, to Christ Jesus, and to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for all the joy, healing, and blessings that have come to me since I first heard of Christian Science over twenty-one years ago.

Brought up with no religious teaching, I found myself after the first World War with indifferent health, poor eyesight, and delicate children. The family doctor was never long out of the house.
