Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication

In commenting on our international daily newspaper, one editor receiving The Christian Science Monitor on the exchange-for-advertising basis wrote: "We shall be pleased to have the Monitor on the 'exchange' basis. While I am not a member of your organization I have been a constant reader of the Monitor editorial page for many years and consider it one of the outstanding pages of the country."

An invitation was received from the Eastern Oregon College of Education at La Grande to speak before three social science classes, the textbook of which calls attention to Christian Science.

The invitation was approved by The Christian Science Board of Directors and accepted. The address, entitled "Mary Baker Eddy and The First Church of Christ, Scientist," was delivered by a local church member, representing the State Committee.
