A Christian Science period in the "Columbia West Coast Church of the Air" series was conducted from Station KARM, Fresno, California, on Sunday morning, May 25, 1941, at eight o'clock (Pacific Standard), by Mr. Floyd C. Shank, Committee on Publication for Northern California, with the approval of The Christian Science Board of Directors. Mr. Elroy C. Twite, soloist, was assisted by Mr. Paul Sheldon at the organ.

The program opened with Hymn No. 43 from the Christian Science Hymnal.

Then Mr. Shank read selections from the Bible as follows: Job 5:8, 20–24 (to;); Psalms 107:15–17, 19, 20, 29, 30; Haggai 2:4–9; Matthew 8:18, 23–27; James 3:13–18. And from the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy: 329:26–31; 223:25–32; 224:4–7, 8–10; 186:22–27; 378:26–32; 144:18–22; 506:10–12; from "Miscellaneous Writings": 320:9–16; and from "The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany," 121:7–13, by the same author.
