Although I had a testimony in The Christian Science Journal several years ago, I have just lately had an experience which to me is very wonderful and I should like to share it, for it might be a help to someone else.

About a year ago a large growth appeared in my nose which almost stopped the passage and was very painful. I did some work in Christian Science on the difficulty myself, but did not seem able to conquer it. Finally, I spoke to a practitioner about it. He talked to me about the true significance of growth as spiritual unfoldment, pointing out that, as Mrs. Eddy says on page 520 of our textbook, Science and Health, "growth is the eternal mandate of Mind." He showed me that since growth is a spiritual process, having no connection whatever with matter or material conditions, there could be no abnormal growth. My thought became clear concerning God and the perfect man—so clear, in fact, that the next morning there was no trace of the abnormal growth.

I sometimes wonder if we fully realize the power and dominion which Christian Science bestows, when rightly applied, and at such times our Leader's words in "Unity of Good" (p. 42) come to me, "With Christ, Life was not merely a sense of existence, but a sense of might and ability to subdue material conditions." That might and ability are ours. This is indeed "Immanuel, or God with us" (Science and Health, p. 34).
