Auburn, Indiana (First Church).—The dedication of the new Christian Science church on South Jackson Street, Auburn, took place on Sunday, May 11, 1941. Services were held in the morning, afternoon, and evening.

The activities of the Christian Science movement in Auburn date back to 1910, when a small group of women started holding meetings in their homes. In 1916, Christian Science Society, Auburn, was recognized as a branch of

The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts. Rooms were rented at 111½ East Ninth Street, and in 1920 the society occupied rooms on South Main Street. Later it moved back to the first location, where it remained until it moved into the new edifice, on November 2, 1940.
