I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the many blessings I have received through Christian Science. While I did not take up the study of it for physical healing, I was sick both physically and mentally.

My brother passed on suddenly with influenza. Up to this time my religion had sustained me. I had a blind faith in God, and I felt that in some way He would help me. I prayed that I might get some light. This light came through Christian Science, which is truly the Comforter which Jesus promised. I was not only healed of grief for my brother but, several years later, I was instantaneously healed of grief at the passing on of my husband. My concept of God as "afar off" was changed to a concept of God as ever-present divine Love, who does not send sorrow or sickness to His children. After I had studied the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, for several months, my physical condition gradually changed to one of better health than I had ever known, for I had always been considered very frail.

I have been healed of an infected finger, a dislocated ankle, bronchitis, influenza, sinus trouble, and many other diseases. Most of these were healed with the help of practitioners, others through my own understanding of God gained through the study of the textbook. I am also grateful for the correction of many false traits of character and for the spiritual regeneration which is constantly taking place.
