"Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered." These words of the Psalmist express what Christian Science has done for me. A few years ago I lived in a fearridden world; now I live in a Love-governed world, in which there is no fear, because "perfect love casteth out fear."

I witnessed an instantaneous healing in my family of what is called arthritis. This healing, however, did not impress me so much as did the great change in disposition and outlook which accompanied it.

A few months later I turned to Christian Science for help in healing a sprained ankle. I was able to return to my duties on the following day, much to the astonishment of my associates. On previous occasions, I had been obliged to spend a few days off my feet entirely, and was always in fear of another occurrence. This time I realized the ever-presence of God, good, and saw that this ever-presence precludes accident or sprain. I cannot express in words my gratitude for the love of the practitioner, who answered my questions for nearly three hours at my initial trial of Christian Science.
