My attention has been called to a letter from a minister...

Commercial Advertiser

My attention has been called to a letter from a minister of the gospel in a recent issue. I regret to observe that this reverend gentleman heads his letter "Demnable Heresies." If the critic of Christian Science had the true concept of this religion of Love, its form of worship, or its beneficent, kindly influence and power for good in the world today, he would not have written as he did.

He states, "We have always believed in being fair and intelligent." I shall take him at his word, and my answer to his criticism is based on facts—these appeal to one's fairness and intelligence, not to belief, prejudice, or ignorance.

The Christian Scientists in Concord, New Hampshire, have a dignified church edifice of Concord granite which cost over $100,000, and was a gift from the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science to the members of this church in the state of her nativity. All are welcome to attend the services in the Christian Science churches, "without money and without price."
