In a review of a book, "Where Do We Stand?" it is stated that this book "gives a sober and valuable appraisal," among other things, of Christian Science.

I should like to call attention to the fact that the book's "appraisal" of Christian Science is valueless for those who wish to know the truth about this religion. The author has evidently not read any of the authorized Christian Science literature or any of the authentic biographies of Mary Baker Eddy, but has used second and third hand sources, which in many respects are incorrect. Therefore, the writer's statements are essentially erroneous, both when he writes about Christian Science and when he writes its Discoverer and Founder.
