I feel that I owe much to the study and practice of Christian Science in the overcoming of physical ailments and consequent peace of mind.

Before I knew anything of the teaching of Christian Science, a niece had become interested in it and was depending on it entirely for the care of her family. Several years ago I heard she was very ill, and went to see her. Soon after my arrival she became much worse, and a practitioner was called in. A gray pallor was on her face when I left the room for a few seconds while the practitioner was declaring the truth. When I returned, the grayness was gone. An instantaneous healing had been accomplished, and in two weeks she walked three quarters of a mile to visit me.

Later, when I began reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, I was sick mentally and physically. Many healings resulted from my reading. One was of a severe back trouble which had caused me intense pain for months, leaving me at times unable to turn in bed without great effort and time. This condition disappeared and has not returned in the last eight years.
