Christian Science has been my only physician for nearly twenty-eight years. Never once has it failed to heal.

In my recollections of my boyhood two healings stand out sharply. The first was a quick overcoming of a seemingly serious case of blood poisoning. In less than seven days I was restored to health and strength. Under medical care, so I am told, I should have been kept in bed for several weeks. Convalescence would have added to the length of time I should have been absent from school. I still remember clearly the astonishment of neighbors at the dispatch with which Christian Science completely destroyed the so-called disease.

The second well-remembered healing took place while I was in camp, several years later, at a resort some miles from home. Infection in a finger set in, and rapidly spread. My mother had wisely packed my copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy in my traveling bag. While I read this and declared the spirituality of God's child, as I had been taught to do in the Christian Science Sunday School, the spread of the infection was checked, and the healing was complete in a week.
