The Evening Capital

Annapolis, Maryland (First Church).—Services for the dedication of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Annapolis, Maryland, were held April 4, 1937, at eleven o'clock in the morning and again at four in the afternoon. There was a large attendance at both services.

The interior of the church is designed along Colonial lines, finished in cream and mahogany. The Colonial pews give a seating capacity of one hundred and forty-four.

The Reading Room, with display windows on the street level, is open to the public each week day from two to five in the afternoon. The following brief history of the growth of the church was read during each service:
