The experiences of members of the Church of Christ, Scientist, and those who turn to Christian Science for help has aroused other religious groups again to seek to use the "seamless robe," and heal the sick as well as the sinner by spiritual means. Christian Scientists rejoice in every effort to restore the lost art of spiritual healing so definitely exemplified by Christ Jesus and practiced for about three hundred years by his followers, and those who accepted their teachings.

The pastor whose sermon is referred to has manifested much interest in this subject. He knows something of Christian Science healings. However, he is reported to have said, "You cannot talk about the love of God and deny, at the same time, His gifts, and still be honest." Christian Science teaches the allness of Spirit, God, and the consequent unreality of matter. The pastor must have had Christian Scientists in thought when he made the assertion.
