I am happy to express my deep gratitude for the numerous blessings which I have received through Christian Science. Before coming into Science I was a sick person without hope of being healed. For years I had had to lie down most of the time and was in a state of continual weakness accompanied by fever, headaches, and stomach trouble. In addition, I had very depressing nervous spells. The main suggestion of error was that I could not be away from home without being sick and without experiencing great distress. For a long time I had tried to struggle against these nervous notions and, not being able to control them, I stayed at home as much as possible, so as not to suffer. Doctors and specialists whom I consulted told me that I should not recover.

It was then that I met a Christian Science practitioner who spoke to me of the truths of this beautiful religion, and I was at once convinced that I had found the way of light.

I read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and soon our textbook took me into the hitherto unknown atmosphere of Truth and Love. At the end of a month the fever and the stomach disorders disappeared, and then the terrible sick headaches which had often compelled me to lie down. Quickly, too, I had a healing of hay fever, and later of chronic sinus trouble; and lastly an illness which would have necessitated an operation, was healed in three treatments. As for the nervous spells, they yielded little by little in the measure that Christian Science re-educated by thought.
