In replying to a clergyman's remarks on Christian Science, I should like to point out that the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science has brought to the world a religion that is healing the sick, reforming the sinner, and in so doing affords practical proof of the Science she elucidates.

The time has come when the thinkers of this age demand proof of any scientific system, instead of mere opinion or formulas. Christian Science presents this proof as no other system of spiritual healing has done since the Master healed the multitudes.

On page 341 of the Christian Science textbook Mrs. Eddy writes, "The facts are so absolute and numerous in support of Christian Science, that misrepresentation and denunciation cannot overthrow it."

In conclusion, I would point out to our critic the beauty of Jesus' words: "If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works."
