I wish to express my gratitude for the blessings which have come to us through an understanding of Christian Science. When I first heard of it I thought, This is the truth I have been seeking all my life, and I took it up at once, attending the church and studying the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly.

We have had many healings in our home. Our children have been healed of mumps, measles, and scarlet fever; but the greatest benefit I have received is the spiritual uplifting which each healing has brought; and I am also grateful for the understanding of the Bible gained through the study of our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

We have had many wonderful demonstrations of the allness of God and the nothingness of error or materiality. When a false sense of lack presented itself in our home through unemployment, it was entirely overcome as we turned to the truths of Christian Science with full confidence that God supplies all our needs, for in Science and Health (p. 494) we read, "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need." We kept on rejoicing even when we seemed to have very little. Our needs were met, time and time again, and I was able to keep fear out, never doubting. At last, through quite an unexpected channel, the way was opened up for us to come to Rhodesia, where we are "rejoicing in the affluence of our God" (ibid., p. 140), for there is plenty of work here for my husband.
