With deep gratitude I bear witness to the healing power of the truth, as it is taught in Christian Science. A number of years ago I suffered from a difficulty affecting the blood and nerves. I was under medical treatment for a year and incidentally visited baths. But none of these could help me. I was, therefore, so discouraged and despairing that the thought often came to me, What's the good of going on living? I believed in a God: but I did not believe that He could deliver me from sickness, for I thought that He had afflicted me with this trouble. I heard from dear friends how they had been healed by Christian Science. In great confidence I turned straightway to a practitioner, who kindly helped me. In a few weeks a decided improvement set in, and as soon as I had learned that God had not sent me the trouble, but that it was only a false belief, I was completely healed.

Some time ago our child had a stubborn case of ear trouble. As well as we could my husband and I held to the truth about it in our thinking. However, the error would not yield. So we turned to a practitioner, who gave the child loving help. In two days our little son was completely free from the sickness.
