New Privy Councilor, new Knight Lord Justice Greene, achieved those honors on his recent appointment to be a Lord Justice of Appeal. When last I met him he said that in a north country town from which he had just returned, the Christian Scientists hold their meetings in the court room; across the front of the rostrum where the judge sits they place a long card with the words in huge letters, "God is Love." One Monday morning the caretaker forgot to remove the card until after the judge was seated. He asked what the card was, and said: "I see nothing amiss in those words in a court of justice. Let the card remain where it is."
