Lecturer: William Duncan Kilpatrick; introduced by Mrs. Elizabeth Gillott, who said:—

When the Master was about to leave his disciples, he comforted them with these words: "In the world ye shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." Christian Science is bringing the everlasting cheer of this message by leading the world's thought away from the changes and limitations of a material sense of life and the universe to the stability of infinite good, to God, manifesting Himself through His idea, man. It is healing the sick and uplifting the sorrowful.
