Christian Science has helped me so many times in overcoming sickness and other evils that I feel I should add my testimony to the many others in praise of God's goodness.

About eighteen years ago I was healed of consumption through Christian Science, though two physicians had told me that I could not possibly live much longer, as my case was hopeless. I had been in a sanatorium for tubercular patients for about six months, but at the end of that time felt no better, so I gave up in despair. It was then that I heard of Christian Science, and the very same day went to a Wednesday evening testimony meeting. There a lady told of the healing of her son of the same trouble through Christian Science treatment, and when she had finished I felt that I also was healed. I can never express in words the peace and joy which came over me at that time, though I could not then understand how my healing was possible. But since I have taken up the study of Christian Science I have learned that all things are possible to God. Some months later, while applying for a passport to come to this country, I was told by the physicians who examined me that I was entirely well.

Since then I have been healed through Christian Science of ulcers of the bowels and pneumonia, and have had instantaneous healings of appendicitis and ptomaine poisoning. I also want to thank God for His protecting care in time of danger. We know when our thoughts are filled with Life, Truth, and Love, that nothing can harm us. My gratitude for all these healings is boundless, but for the realization of God's ever present Love and man's unity with God I thank Him daily.
