Top O' the World

An article, "Seen from the Top O' the World," in the January 16 issue of your paper contains the following statement: "During our late debauch we became so involved in Christian Science bookkeeping, and so enamored of it, that we forgot quite completely why we were keeping books."

In order to correct any misconception the article might convey to the unwary reader, I respectfully request space to make the following statement:

Christian Science is orderly and accurate, and is based upon a practical understanding of the teachings of Christ Jesus instead of mere belief or imagination. The many healings—physical, mental, and financial—resulting from the application of Christian Science, and recognized by many educators and broad-minded physicians, attest its efficacy in meeting the human need in an intelligent, practical way.
