In Revelation we read, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." When the Christ has come to us in demonstration, it destroys to that extent the belief in a power apart from God.

At one time I had no desire to live. I had had a great sorrow, and could not seem to lift my thought above human mother-love. On page 475 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, we read, "To Truth there is no error,—all is Truth." I had this lesson to learn. To mortal sense I was passing on at the time. The practitioner, my mother, and my husband were at the bedside. I had become unconscious. The practitioner asked my husband to telephone to my teacher, who lived in a distant city. Twenty minutes after entering the long-distance call, my mother was talking with my teacher. In ten minutes my body took on a natural hue; I opened my eyes and spoke to them. I had been unconscious since six o'clock in the morning, and this was twelve o'clock, noon. I learned that "a mortal sinner is not God's man" (Science and Health, pp. 475, 476), and that "we all must learn that Life is God" (ibid., p. 496). I learned that day that loving is living, and living is loving.

I have also been healed of appendicitis, and I was healed of cancer while attending a Christian Science lecture.
