In 1917 I suffered from abscesses of the stomach, and several physicians whom I consulted declared that only an operation could help me. They were of the opinion that the affection was of the malicious type and perhaps cancerous. I was in bed for four months; my weight had fallen to eighty-four pounds, and I was unable to take any nourishment. At last I decided to call for a Christian Science practitioner. The latter helped me lovingly, and in four weeks I was entirely healed, and have had no trouble since. I thank God with all my heart, also our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for the blessing and the benefits which have been mine through Christian Science.—(Mrs.) Emilie Lehmann, Berlin-Tempelhof, Germany.
