I am giving this testimony of healing received through Christian Science that my experience may encourage others in their effort for freedom from the bondage of mortal sense.

Thirteen years ago, while I was in a despondent state, a friend who had been healed through Christian Science brought it to my attention. At this time I was a physical wreck, though I had taken medicine continually for two years. I was invited to attend a lecture delivered by a member of the Board of Lectureship of The Mother Church. After the lecture I found that my thought — my concept of things — had changed. I borrowed a copy of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and after reading some of it decided to visit a practitioner. I did so, and was healed of a running ear an aftermath of measles — which had been my constant companion since early childhood.

This healing caused me to take up the study of Christian Science in earnest, and since then I have been healed of the use of tobacco in all its forms, and of many ills. The following healing stands out because of the manifest after effect. One of my eyes became infected, and while the healing seemed protracted it was complete. Immediately afterward I was offered a new position, which enabled me to have class instruction in Christian Science. Not only was the financial problem solved, but also the problem of time.
