Part of Norway and St. Paul Streets at the corner of the present Publishing House is being trenched in connection with relocating the sewer mains in order to make space for the new tunnel which will connect the present Publishing House to the new Publishing House, and afford a passageway from the basement of one building to that of the other without the necessity of crossing the street above.

The steam lines to be installed by The Edison Electric Illuminating Company will extend eighty-seven hundred feet beyond their existing lines. Six hundred feet of this distance has already been completed, and by November 1 the lines are expected to be fully constructed and connected to supply heat to the new Publishing House and adjacent Church property.

The electric contract, which covers the laying of electric conduits and wiring for all the lighting and for the machinery in the new Publishing House, with the exception of the substation, which was let as a special contract, has now been awarded. The installation of the sprinkler piping and heating piping in the basement of the new building is progressing rapidly.
