A Christian Science Sentinel found me at a time when all material aid had failed to relieve me. I was suffering from a complication of diseases, one of which was ulcerations in the throat. The throat had been sprayed many times, but this did no good. I also was in deep grief, as my mother had passed on. I had become so weak, and had taken so much medicine, that two physicians told me they could not give me anything more. So, in spite of my prejudice toward and criticism of Christian Science, I decided to try it as a last resort. I had found much fault with something I knew nothing whatever about, after reading a few articles. A practitioner was consulted who so lovingly and kindly explained this wonderful truth that my thoughts soon ran in different channels. After two treatments I was healed of grief; then thoughts of hatred and revenge yielded, and following this my physical healing came. In two weeks I was completely healed and doing my work.

Our children have been healed of shingles, anæmia, enlarged tonsils, pneumonia, blood poisoning, and other ailments; and our little son was healed of mastoiditis in one week. Through reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, my husband was healed of blindness in one eye.

I am very grateful for these healings, but more grateful for this religion of love that meets every condition and circumstance. I am grateful for every channel of good, for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church, for class instruction, and for the many blessings which have come to me and mine.
