Meditation

Father, to Thee I used to pray:
Let me take love with me to-day,
Let me be patient, tender, kind,
Ever express the perfect Mind;
Let me with comfort needed much
Reveal to all the Christlike touch.
Oft in the quiet dawn of day,
Father, for love I used to pray.

Father, I thank Thee! Now I know
I do take love where'er I go,
That I can in each passing hour
Reflect Thy goodness and Thy power;
And with Thy truth, Thy peace, Thy joy,
All that is unlike Thee destroy.
Father, I thank Thee that I know
Love fills all space, where'er I go.
