Western Daily Press

A correspondent makes some remarks on Christian Science which, for the benefit of your readers, seem to call for some comment.

Your correspondent takes exception to Christian Science making use of the term "Science." A dictionary states, "Science is applied or pure." "Applied Science is a knowledge of facts, events . . . produced by means of powers, causes, or laws." Another definition of Science is "demonstrable truth." That Christian Science is Science and is true is being demonstrated the world over by the healing of both sickness and sin. It was Christ Jesus himself who gave us the promise, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
