In the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, we read (p. 450), "The Christian Scientist has enlisted to lessen evil, disease, and death; and he will overcome them by understanding their nothingness and the allness of God, or good." This has been proved in my case since I heard of this beautiful truth some years ago. Christian Science has been the means of making me a healthier and happier woman. I have been healed of consumption and eczema. I was suffering from the latter when I was first told of Christian Science.

I have a Bible now which I understand, as it has a new light on its sacred pages. When one makes a study of the Bible together with the Christian Science textbook, one finds that these two valuable books are indeed a great help in solving the problems that come in daily life. The textbook contains no mere creed or dogma, but the statement of divine law, the law which governs all true being, and which may be utilized in the way taught by Jesus. I am very grateful for membership in The Mother Church, also in a branch church; and I wish to express great gratitude for the testimony meetings, where one hears so many helpful testimonies and has the privilege of telling others of this glorious truth.
