It is a great privilege to testify to the healing and regenerating power of Christian Science. It was for the healing of a loved one that I took up the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

I had been troubled ever since childhood with granulated eyelids and weak eyes. I was always having sties on the eyelids, and at times they would be so swollen that I could hardly see. I was healed of this trouble while searching for the truth for this loved one. I became so interested that I lost thought of self. I do not know exactly when I was healed, but when the thought came to me about my eyes I realized they were healed. That was over twelve years ago, and the healing has been permanent.

I have also been healed of influenza, neuritis, internal disorders, and sick headaches. Through the constant study of Christian Science I am being helped both physically and morally. We are a family of four, and Christian Science has been our only physician for over twelve years. Though the way seems dark at times, our beloved Leader tells us (Science and Health, p. 596) that "divine Life and Love illumine it."
